Who says New York City is expensive to visit?  Well, okay, there are a
lot of things that are amazing to see that will lighten your wallet.
However, Nicholas and I found a wonderful place to spend part of a
day and it's
FREE!
The New York Library!
This one is on the corner of 5th and 40th Avenues.  It backs up to
Bryant Park in Manhattan.  It truly is an amazing building.  Take a look
at some of the sights we experienced.
If you have a bad neck, you'll just have to muster up some
strength to spend a lot of time starring up at these gorgeous
ceilings.  Every room has magnificent architecture.
Yes, this is a water fountain.
There's much more to see.  There are rooms you're not
allowed to even have your camera out or on.  NO pictures
can be taken.  You'll see original oil paintings of past
presidents.  Original documents that set the course of our
country.

There's the first bound Bible displayed.  And so much more!

There's also floating exhibits depending on the dates you
visit.  It's worth setting time aside for this library/museum.
